About Us

The 374th Medical Group ensures medical readiness of 374th Airlift Wing, 5th Air Force and U.S. Forces Japan. The 374 MDG maintains 57 war reserve materiel projects, including the Department of Defense’s largest Patient Movement Item inventory and deploys Expeditionary Medical Support for global contingency operations. The facility operates 15 inpatient beds and is expandable to 115 beds. The 374 MDG provides health care, including occupational health, preventive medicine and environmental protection to more than 11,000 base personnel and is the Aero-medical Evacuation hub for mainland Japan.
